January 26, 2011 – Weston Tunnel Feedback Response Meeting

Over 20 people attended a meeting on January 26, 2011 to listen to the Metrolinx/GO Transit response to feeback on the design of the Weston Tunnel received at a meeting on December 2, 2010. This was an opportunity for the community to get a comprehensive response from Metrolinx/GO Transit to the ideas and comments from the community. Metrolinx/GO Transit is working with several partners, including the City of Toronto, local elected officials and the Toronto Catholic District School Board, to confirm a use for the covered section of the Weston Tunnel, work on a station area master plan that looks incorporating the station desing with other planned building opportunities, and a City-led planning exercise for Weston.
