Jennifer Singh, GO Transit Reporter for CP24
Jennifer
has worked in the broadcast industry for over a decade producing,
writing and reporting for several of Canada's major media outlets.
When she was still in high school, an internship for CTV National News
helped to launch her career. The hands-on newsroom experience led to
several other internships including a stint in Halifax, Nova Scotia for
CTV Atlantic News.
While building her industry expertise, Jennifer completed an English and
Communication Studies degree at York University and a postgraduate
Journalism degree at Ryerson University.
Just weeks after graduating, Jennifer landed her first TV reporting gig
with OMNI News in Toronto. She covered local, national and international
issues and produced health and entertainment features.
In 2007, Jennifer returned to the East Coast to report for Global News
in Saint John, New Brunswick. As a general assignment reporter, she
filed stories from across the province for the evening and late night
newscasts.
A year later, Jennifer came home to Toronto to report for CBC Radio News
before joining GO Transit as a transit reporter for CP24.
You can catch Jennifer on CP24 Breakfast and CP24 News delivering GO
Transit service updates Monday to Friday during the morning commute.
